Too Faced Chocolate Bar eyeshadow review

Too Faced is one of my favorite lines, sold at Ulta and Sephora. So, when they came out with an eyeshadow palette called Chocolate Bar, I couldn't resist. This palette contains 16 colors inside, and with names like gilded ganache, and black forest cordial, a girl is bound to fall in love. But that's not it! This eyeshadow is dusted with real cocoa powder, so it even smells decadent. How does it measure up in comparison to other big names? Read my review and find out.

Firstly, the packaging is very cute, as it looks like a candy bar, but has pink and gold fancy writing. When you open it, there is a clear-plastic covering over each color, letting you know the color's name. The aroma is amazing as well, when you open this pretty box. There are also cards       which contain color combos and directions.

This eyeshadow goes on smooth, yet light. It does not feel "caky", but instead seems to blend into the skin, not getting lost. It seems to last most of the day, yet I do have to reapply towards the end of my shift. There are endless amounts of color combos within this palette, to create an array of different smoky eyes, for daytime and night. One downside to this palette is the fact that it does not include brushes. It's kind of pricy, at 39.50, to not include brushes.  Overall, I give this palette a 4 out of 5 shoe rating. Here is a pic if the finished product, using Too Faced Chocolate bar eyeshasow, to create a daytime smoky look.
